Is it safe?This clinic uses only disposable, sterile needles used of surgical steel. These are only slightly thicker than a human hair. An experienced acupuncturist is able to make each visit comfortable and relaxing. How far do the needles typically go in?It depends on the part of the body that the needle is inserted. Typically a needle would go in ¼ of and inch to ½ an inch. What are the credentials of an acupunctruist?In B.C. an acupucntrist must attend three years of training at a liscensed college of Chinese Medicine. It is a prerequesite to spend two years at university before applying to a college of TCM. What can acupuncture treat?Acupuncture is known to treat a number of common and uncommon ailments. Such as: Back pain, migrane headaches, colds and flus, stress, sleep disorders, chronic pain and much more… Gynecology is a common area of treatment, including painful periods, headaches related to the menstrual cycle, PMS, endometriosis and infertility.
